Meme Moi

I don’t even know what that means. Whatever. This has been floating around on the blogs I read, and because I’m at a loss for things to write about (even though I’m starting a new job, going to see out-of-town relatives, and am planning a summer of NO WORKING!!!!), and because it’s not even 9:30 and I haven’t wasted enough time yet this evening, AND because it’s been nearly a month since my last post...

here goes...

6 Weird Things About Me:

1. I eat jellybeans one color at a time, in ascending order of which colors I like. So if I grab a handful (which is rare - I usually pick them out by color right from the bag, never mixing colors), I go for yellow first, then green, then purple, then orange, then red. Can you tell we’re trying to get rid of the Easter candy?

2. I’d rather cook than do just about anything.

3. When I have my shoes off, which is anytime I’m in my house, my first two toes are crossed.

4. I like loading the dishwasher. It’s like some kind of game to see if I can actually fit all the dinner dishes and pots and pans for one day in there. I absolutely LOATHE unloading the dishwasher. It’s my least favorite household chore. Other than folding the whites. Anyway, D thought it would be a good idea to start running the dishwasher daily, rather than waiting until it was full to overflowing just to save a little water. He’s usually the one to unload it, and I know someday soon he’s going to catch on that I can, REALLY, fit every last dish in our house in the dishwasher at once.

5. D thinks I do the world’s best speech impairment imitations. To me it’s just an occupational hazard.

6. My favorite smell in the world is the smell A & J have when they’re asleep after a long day of playing and a bath. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that smell. They ought to put it in dryer sheets and sell it.
